Honey Singh (also known as Yo! Yo! Honey Singh) is a Punjabi rap singer, composer, singer and film actor. Honey Singh started his tenure as a season and recording artist in 2006 and soon became a Bhangra musician. Honey Singh has also tried his hand in Bollywood and currently he has become the highest paid artist for a single song. Nowadays, he has a song in almost every film. He learned rap singing at Trinity University (School of Trinity) in England.

Early life:

Rapper, music producer, singer Yo Yo Honey Singh, who caused a stir in Bollywood with his explosive music, was born on March 15, 1983 in Hoshiarpur, Punjab to a Sikh family. Yo Yo Honey Singh's real name is Hirdesh Singh. Hirdesh Singh is known by the logo and by the name of his stage Yo Yo Honey Singh or Honey Singh. Hirdesh Singh studied music at Trinity School in the UK and later moved to Delhi with his family.

His song has also been shown in English beat Saif Ali Khan's film Cocktail.

He had sung an obscene song after the 2012 Delhi gangrape case. Women were insulted. Due to this, a report was lodged against Honey Singh and the case reached the High Court. Due to this, Singh had to travel to the Delhi High Court.
