Pandit Amarnath (1924–1996) was an Indian Classical Vocalist and composer. He composed music for the film Garam Coat in 1955. He should not be confused with the very popular composer of the same name, Amarnath, who was very active in Lahore and Mumbai film industry in 1940s and died around 1947.

Pandit Pran Nath (Devanagari: पंडित प्राणनाथ) (3 November 1918 – 13 June 1996) was an Indian classical singer and master of the Kirana gharana singing style. Promoting traditional raga principles, Nath exerted an influence on notable American minimalist and jazz musicians, including La Monte Young, Terry Riley, and Don Cherry] He began performing in the United States in the 1970s, and established the Kirana Center for Indian Classical Music in 1972; he subsequently taught in various universities across the US and Europe.

Pandit Ratnakar Pai (13 April 1928 – 9 August 2009) was a Hindustani classical music vocalist of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana.

Jhaptal is a 10-beat pattern used in raga exposition. It has ten beats in four divisions (vibhag), of 2-3-2-3, the third of which is the khali, or open division. To follow the tal the audience clap on the appropriate beat, which in jhaptal is beats 1, 3 and 8 (the first beat in each full division). A wave of the hand indicates beat 6, the first beat of the khali section.

1. मंच प्रदर्शन में गायन के परीक्षार्थीं को सर्वप्रथम उपर्युक्त विस्तृत अध्ययन के 15 रागों में से अपनी इच्छानुसार किसी भी एक राग में विलम्बित तथा दु्रत खयाल लगभग 30 मिनट तक या परीक्षक द्वारा निर्धारित समय में पूर्ण गायकी के साथ गायन। इसके बाद थोड़ी देर किसी राग की ठुमरी, भजन या भावगीत गाने का अभ्यास।
2. मंच प्रदर्शन के समय परीक्षाकक्ष में श्रोतागण भी कार्यक्रम सुनने हेतु उपस्थित रह सकते हैं।
3. परीक्षक को अधिकार होगा कि यदि वे चाहें तो निर्धारित समय से पूर्व भी परीक्षार्थी का प्रदर्शन समाप्त कर सकते हैं।
