Acharya Chinmoy Lahiri (Bengali: আচার্য চিন্ময় লাহিড়ী) (20 March 1920 – 17 August 1984) was an Indian vocalist from Bengal in the Hindustani classical tradition. He is known for the Khayal form of singing, as well as for his popular renditions of Dhrupad, Thumri and Tappa, along with Bengali Raga-pradhan songs

Gokulotsavji Maharaj is a worldwide acclaimed most senior Hindustani Classical Vocal Music doyen, specializing in Khayal, Dhrupad Dhammar, Prabandh Gayaki and various Ancient Indian Musical Styles. He is also a singer cum composer, writer, poet, musicologist, and philosopher-Vedant scholar.

Anjanibai Malpekar (22 April 1883 – 7 August 1974) was a noted Indian classical singer, belonging to the Bhendibazaar gharana of Hindustani classical music.

In 1958, she became the first woman to be awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship, the highest honour conferred by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India's National Academy for Music, Dance and Drama.

Acclaimed for her beauty in her youth, Malpekar was the muse of painters Raja Ravi Varma and M. V. Dhurandhar

Ramanlal C. Mehta (31 October 1918 – 18 October 2014) was an Indian musician and musicologist. In 2009, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian honour.

Life
Ramanlal was a Gujarati[2] who was born on 31 October 1918 in Surat in the state of Gujarat. He retired in 1978, from the MS University of Baroda, after serving as Principal of the College of Indian Music, Dance & Dramatics / Faculty of Performing Arts for several years. He died after a fall in 2014 at the age of 95.

Pandit Falguni Mitra is a Hindustani classical vocalist who is known as a Dhrupad exponent of IndiaMitra belongs to the Bettiah gharana.

Mitra combines the Dagar style of “Alaapchari” with the Betia style of Dhrupad and Dhamaar .

Early life
Mitra was initiated into music by his father, Sangeetacharya Shib Mitra, at the age of five.

Madhup Mudgal is an Indian Hindustani classical music vocalist.,[2] known for his khayal and bhajan renditions. A disciple of Kumar Gandharva, he is also a composer, conductor of famous Gandharva Choir and has been principal of the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi, a music and dance school since 1995[

He received the prestigious Padma Shri award from the Government of India in 2006.[

ഹിന്ദുസ്ഥാനി ക്ലാസിക്കൽ, സെമി ക്ലാസിക്കൽ, നാട്യ-സംഗീത ഗായകനും മറാത്തി നാടക നടനുമായിരുന്നു പണ്ഡിറ്റ് ദീനനാഥ് മങ്കേഷ്കർ (29 ഡിസംബർ 1900 - ഏപ്രിൽ 24, 1942). മാസ്റ്റർ ദീനനാഥ് മങ്കേഷ്കർ എന്നാണ് അദ്ദേഹം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. മംഗേഷ്കർ സഹോദരിമാരുടെ പിതാവ് എന്നാണ് അദ്ദേഹം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മക്കൾ - ലതാ മങ്കേഷ്കർ, ആശാ ഭോസ്ലെ, ഹൃദയനാഥ് മംഗേഷ്കർ, മീന ഖാദിക്കർ, ഉഷാ മങ്കേഷ്കർ എന്നിവരാണ് തീർച്ചയായും ഇന്ത്യൻ സംഗീത വ്യവസായത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പേരുകൾ!

ഇന്ത്യൻ സംഗീതജ്ഞനും അദ്ധ്യാപകനും എഴുത്തുകാരനുമായിരുന്നു പണ്ഡിറ്റ് നിഖിൽ ജ്യോതി ഘോഷ് (ഡിസംബർ 28, 1918 - മാർച്ച് 3, 1995) തബലയുടെ താളവാദ്യത്തിൽ വൈദഗ്ദ്ധ്യം നേടി. 1956 ൽ സംഗീത സ്ഥാപനമായ സംഗിത് മഹാഭാരതി സ്ഥാപിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം ഇന്ത്യയിലും വിദേശത്തും വിവിധ ഘട്ടങ്ങളിൽ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. ഉസ്താദ് ഹാഫിസ് അലി ഖാൻ അവാർഡിന് അർഹനായ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ശൈലി ദില്ലി, അജ്രദ, ഫാറുഖാബാദ്, ലഖ്‌നൗ, തബലയിലെ പഞ്ചാബ് ഘരാനകളുമായി യോജിച്ചതായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. 1990 ൽ സംഗീതത്തിന് നൽകിയ സംഭാവനകൾക്ക് ഇന്ത്യാ സർക്കാർ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് പത്മഭൂഷന്റെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന മൂന്നാമത്തെ സിവിലിയൻ ബഹുമതി നൽകി.

        अल्लाह रक्खा रहमान हिन्दी फिल्मों के एक प्रसिद्ध संगीतकार हैं। इनका जन्म ६ जनवरी १९६७ को चेन्नई, तमिलनाडु, भारत में हुआ। जन्म के उपरांत उनका नाम ए. एस. दिलीपकुमार मुदलियार रखा गया था, जिसे बाद में बदलकर वे ए. आर. रहमान बनें। सुरों के बादशाह रहमान ने अपनी मातृभाषा तमिऴ के अलावा हिंदी और कई अन्य भाषाओं की फिल्मों में भी संगीत दिया है। टाइम्स पत्रिका ने उन्हें मोजार्ट ऑफ मद्रास की उपाधि दी।

जगजीत जी का जन्म 8 फ़रवरी, 1941 को राजस्थान के गंगानगर में हुआ था। पिता सरदार अमर सिंह धमानी भारत सरकार के कर्मचारी थे। जगजीत जी का परिवार मूलतः पंजाब के रोपड़ ज़िले के दल्ला गाँव का रहने वाला है। माँ बच्चन कौर पंजाब के ही समरल्ला के उट्टालन गाँव की रहने वाली थीं। जगजीत का बचपन का नाम जीत था। करोड़ों सुनने वालों के चलते सिंह साहब कुछ ही दशकों में जग को जीतने वाले जगजीत बन गए।

शिक्षा

शुरुआती शिक्षा गंगानगर के खालसा स्कूल में हुई और बाद पढ़ने के लिए जालंधर आ गए। डीएवी कॉलेज से स्नातक की डिग्री ली और इसके बाद कुरूक्षेत्र विश्वविद्यालय से इतिहास में पोस्ट ग्रेजुएशन भी किया।
