Suprabhat ''Meditation with morning ragas''...Hariprasad Chaurasia is an Indian music director and classical flutist, who plays the bansuri, an Indian bamboo flute, in the Hindustani classical tradition. Chaurasia started learning vocal music from his neighbor, Rajaram, at the age of 15. Later, he switched to playing the flute under the tutelage of Bholanath Prasanna of Varanasi for eight years. He joined the All India Radio, Cuttack, Odisha in 1957 and worked as a composer and performer.

Meditation with morning ragas...... Born on 15th April, 1951. Babulal plays the BELA BAHAAR. His father Shri Kashiramji was a well-known Sarangi player of the state. At the age of seven, Babulal started learning vocal music and sarangi playing under his father's guidance. After his matriculation, Babulal started learning the violin under Pt. S. G. Ranade. Since 1979, Babulal permanently settled in Mumbai and it was here that he created his unique instrument - the Bela Bahaar.

He started to play the mandolin, a little-known instrument in India, when he was only six years old. Srinivas learnt to play Carnatic ragas on the mandolin with so much ease and dexterity that his name has become synonymous in India with the mandolin and he is popularly called Mandolin Srinivas.

From 1988, Nirmalya Dey learned in the true guru-shishya tradition based on the master-disciple relationship, spending extended time with the celebrated dhrupad master, Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar.

Meditation with morning ragas.... Anant Lal, often referred to by the title Pandit, was an Indian classical musician who played the shehnai. He worked for All India Radio and played with artists such as Ravi Shankar and Debu Chaudhuri in addition to recording under his own name.
