Ustad Bale Khan (28 August 1942 - 2 December 2007) is widely acclaimed as one of India’s finest sitarists. He hails from a family steeped In music. His grand father Rahimat Khan is revered not just his music but his imaginative and definitive rearrangement of the sitar strings. Sitar Ratna Rahimat Khan was a deciple of the great Ustad Bande Ali Khan, and it is this illustrious tradition that Bale Khan carries forward.

Vocalist Pandit Sharatchandra Arolkar
A doyen of the Gwalior Gharana, Pandit Sharatchandra Arolkar was born in 1912 in Karachi. Even as a youngster, Panditji, showed a passion for music, which asserted itself in many ways. He tried his hand skillfully at the harmonium and the tabla, and seldom missed an opportunity to attend music concerts. The recordings of Rahimat Khan, the great mystic-musician, once made a profound impact on him and much against the will of his elders, young Sharad sought musical guidance from Pandit Laxmanrao Bodas, a local vocalist and disciple of Pandit Vishnu Digambar.

Flutist and Musicologist Padma Shri Pandit Vijay Raghav Rao
Pandit Vijay Raghav Rao (Vijaya Raghava Rao) (3 November 1925 - 30 November 2011) was an Indian flutist, composer, choreographer, musicologist, poet and fiction writer.
He was awarded the Padma Shri by Government of India in 1970, and in 1982 the Sangeet Natak Akademi in Creative and Experimental music category, the highest for performing artist conferred by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India's National Academy for Music, Dance and Drama.
