વર્ષ 1978 ની વાત છે. પ્રખ્યાત અભિનેતા દેવ આનંદ એક ફિલ્મ બનાવી રહ્યા હતા - ડેસ પરડેસ. આ ફિલ્મના નિર્માતા-દિગ્દર્શક પણ તે જ હતા. સિનેમા ચાહકો ઘણા કારણોસર આ ફિલ્મ યાદ કરે છે. અભિનેત્રી તરીકે ટીના મુનિમની તે પ્રથમ ફિલ્મ હતી. આ ફિલ્મની અન્ય સહાયક કલાકારોમાં અજિત, પ્રાણ, અમજદ ખાન, શ્રીરામ લગૂ, ટોમ આલ્ટર, બિંદુ, પ્રેમ ચોપડા, એકે હંગલ, સુજિત કુમાર, મહેમૂદ અને પેંટલ શામેલ હતા. આ સિવાય દેવ આનંદે આ ફિલ્મ માટે સંગીતકાર તરીકે રાજેશ રોશનની પસંદગી કરી હતી.

ख्याल अरबी भाषा का शब्द जिसका अर्थ हैं विचार या कल्पना. आज मेरे मन में विचार आया कि आपको अपना ख्याल बताया जाए .सुंदर,सांगीतिक,स्वरबध्द ख्याल.

સંગીતમાં સાધનનું વિશેષ મહત્વ છે. તેના વિના, ગાવાનું, રમવું, નૃત્ય કરવાની સુંદરતા અર્ધ-શેકેલી કળી જેવું છે. ગાવાનું, રમવું, નૃત્ય કરવું, વાદ્યોનો સાથ સંપૂર્ણ વિકસિત સુમનની જેમ ખીલે છે. સાધનસામગ્રીનું ગાવાનું, વગાડવા અને નૃત્યમાં જ નહીં પણ નાટકોમાં પણ વિશેષ મહત્વ છે. નાટ્ય ક્ષેત્રમાં પણ ગાયકની જેમ રમવું પણ જરૂરી છે. ભરત મુનિએ જણાવ્યું છે.
