Vijay Kichlu (born 1930) is an Indian classical singer. He studied Dhrupad with the Dagar Brothers and Khayal with Latafat Hussain Khan, whose style had a strong connection with Dhrupad. He and his brother, Ravi Kichlu, formed a famous classical vocalist duo.

ध्वनि, झरनों की झरझर, पक्षियों का कूजन किसने नहीं सुना है। प्रकृति प्रदत्त जो नाद लहरी उत्पन्न होती है, वह अनहद नाद का स्वरूप है जो कि प्रकृति की स्वाभाविक प्रक्रिया है। लेकिन जो नाद स्वर लहरी, दो वस्तुओं के परस्पर घर्षण से अथवा टकराने से पैदा होती है उसे लौकिक नाद कहते हैं।
वातावरण पर अपने नाद को बिखेरने के लिये, बाह्य हवा पर कंठ के अँदर से उत्पन्न होने वाली वजनदार हवा जब परस्पर टकराती है, उसी समय कंठ स्थित 'स्वर तंतु' (Vocal Cords) नाद पैदा करते हैं। अत: मानव प्राणी द्वारा निर्मित आवाज लौकिक है।

Pandit Pran Nath (Devanagari: पंडित प्राणनाथ) (3 November 1918 – 13 June 1996) was an Indian classical singer and master of the Kirana gharana singing style. Promoting traditional raga principles, Nath exerted an influence on notable American minimalist and jazz musicians, including La Monte Young, Terry Riley, and Don Cherry] He began performing in the United States in the 1970s, and established the Kirana Center for Indian Classical Music in 1972; he subsequently taught in various universities across the US and Europe.

Pandit Dattatreya Vishnu Paluskar (28 May 1921 – 26 October 1955), was a Hindustani classical vocalist. He was considered a child prodigy.

Early life and background
D.V. Paluskar was born in Nasik, Maharashtra to well-known Hindustani musician Vishnu Digambar Paluskar.[His original surname was Gadgil, but as they hailed from the village Palus (near Sangli), they came to be known as the "Paluskar" family.

Ramesh Laxman Nadkarni (1921–1995) was a Hindustani classical music singer from Jogeshwari. Nadkarni a disciple of Aman Ali Khan had composed over 250 melodies and Ragas. He was honored for his dedicated lifelong service to classical music and was awarded a fellowship by Sursingar Sansad, Mumbai. He was part of BHENDI BAZAR GHARANA.
