Sumati Mutatkar

Sumati Mutatkar (10 September 1916 – 28 February 2007) was an Indian classical music vocalist and musicologist from the Agra gharana of Hindustani classical music, and a Professor of Department of Music in University of Delhi.

She was awarded the highest award of the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India's National Academy for Music, Dance and Drama, for lifetime achievement, the 1979 Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship[2] and the Padma Shri in 1999, by Government of India.She was also awarded the Kalidas Samman by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in 2001-2002.

Tripti Mukherjee

Pandita Tripti Mukherjee is an Indian classical vocalist. She belongs to Mewati Gharana. She is the founder and director of the Pandit Jasraj Institute for Music, Research, Artistry and Appreciation.

Early life
Tripti Mukherjee is a senior disciple of Padma Vibhushan Pandit Jasraj.[3]

Shubha Mudgal

Shubha Mudgal (born 1 January 1959) is an Indian singer of Hindustani classical music. Her repertoire includes the genres of khyal, thumri, dadra, and Indian pop. She has received the Padma Shri in 2000.

Early life
Shubha was born in Allahabad into an academic family.[2][3][4] Her parents, Skand Gupta and Jaya Gupta, were both professors of English literature at Allahabad University, and both of them had a deep interest in Hindustani classical music and kathak.[5][6] Shubha's paternal grandfather, P. C. Gupta, had also been a professor at Allahabad University.

Madhup Mudgal

Madhup Mudgal is an Indian Hindustani classical music vocalist.,[2] known for his khayal and bhajan renditions. A disciple of Kumar Gandharva, he is also a composer, conductor of famous Gandharva Choir and has been principal of the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi, a music and dance school since 1995[

He received the prestigious Padma Shri award from the Government of India in 2006.[

Falguni Mitra

Pandit Falguni Mitra is a Hindustani classical vocalist who is known as a Dhrupad exponent of IndiaMitra belongs to the Bettiah gharana.

Mitra combines the Dagar style of “Alaapchari” with the Betia style of Dhrupad and Dhamaar .

Early life
Mitra was initiated into music by his father, Sangeetacharya Shib Mitra, at the age of five.
