Pandit Ravi Shankar (7 April 1920 – 11 December 2012), born Robindro Shaunkor Chowdhury was an Indian musician and composer who was one of the best-known exponents of the Sitar in the second half of the 20th century as a composer of Hindustani Classical Music.

Ustad Shaik Dawood Khan (16 December 1916 – 21 March 1992) also known as Ustad Shaik Dawood, Ustad Sheik Dawood or Daud Khan was an Eminent Tabla Maestro and accompanist. He was formerly a staff artist in All India Radio.
Ustad Shaik Dawood Khan was born in Sholapur. His father Hashim Sahib was a draughtsman in the PWD (Public Works Dept.), Bijapur.

Vocalist and Composer Pandit Manas Chakraborty
Pandit Manas Chakraborty (9 September 1942 – 12 December 2012) was a Hindustani classical vocalist. He belonged to Kotali Gharana started by his father and guru Sangeetacharya Tarapada Chakraborty. Chakraborty performed at many music conferences and programs including the Allauddin Music Conference (1976), the 5th RIMPA Music Festival (Benaras, 1984), Sawai Gandharva Sangeet Mahotsav (Pune, 1984). He was a writer and composer. He used the pseudonym Sadasant or Sadasant Piya to write bandish. He composed many Bengali songs.

Vocalist Ustad Nissar Hussain Khan
Ustad Nissar Hussain Khan (12 December 1909 – 16 July 1993) was an Indian classical vocalist from the Rampur-Sahaswan gharana. He was a disciple and son of Fida Hussain Khan and after a long and illustrious career was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1971. He was the court musician of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III at Baroda and was featured extensively on All India Radio. He was a specialist in Tarana. His most famous disciples are Ghulam Mustafa khan and Rashid Khan.
