यह कर्नाटक संगीत से हिन्दुस्तानी संगीत में लिया हुआ राग है। इस राग का वाद्य संगीत में ज्यादा प्रयोग किया जाता है। यह चन्चल प्रक्रुति का राग होने कि वजह से इसमे ठुमरी जैसी बंदिशें ज्यादा प्रचिलित हैं। फिल्म संगीत में भी इस राग का बहुत उपयोग किया जाता है। यह स्वर संगतियाँ राग कीरवाणी का रूप दर्शाती हैं -
