Indian world of seven notes
The process of creation of creation took place with Naad. When the first big bang happened, Adi Naad was generated. The original sound whose symbol is ‘om’ is called Nadavrahm. In the Patanjali Yogasutra, Patanjali Muni has described it as the expression of ‘Tasya Vachak Pranav:’. It is said in Mandukyopanishad-
That is, the letter Om is indestructible. This is the sub-discourse of the whole world. What has happened, what is and what is going to happen, all this world is Omkar and what is the other element past the three periods mentioned above, is also Omkar.
The nature of the voice
Here, the science of speech was considered very deeply. In the Rig Veda there is a richa-
Chatwari sentence paramita padani
Tani Vidurvrahmana ye manishin:
Guha Trini Nihita Nengyanti
Read the trumpet, human legend.
Rig Veda 1-164-45
That is, there are four legs of speech, which are known by learned mystics. Three of these are secret from being inside the body but can experience the fourth. Explaining this in detail, Panini says that there are four feet or forms of speech-
1. Para, 2. Pashyanti, 3. In the middle, 4. Vaikhari
Origin of speech
Where the voice originates from, it has been realized in depth. On this basis, Panini says, the soul is the basic basis from which sound originates. That is the first form of it. It is a matter of experience. Not heard by any instrument. This form of sound was called para.
Further, when the soul, with the help of intellect and meaning, sees the picture of the doer, deed or action on the mind-board, this form of speech is called pashyanti, which is nowadays called ghttardyadruddhatthth. The image of what we say first forms in our minds. Due to this the second stage is Pashyanti.
Further, by inducing the energy of the mind and body, it produces a bubble of unheard sound. The bubble rises and comes from the chest to the throat with the help of exhalation. This form of speech is called Madhyama. These three forms are not heard. Further this bubble is expressed in the form of voice in different forms by vowel, consonant, consonant and volume with the help of five touch places above the throat. This voice that is heard is called Vaikhari and only with this Vaikhari voice the expression of complete knowledge, science, life behavior and conversation is possible.
Expression of voice
Here we see how meticulously he observed the speech coming out of the mouth and his analysis of which organ the letters from A to J come out with is so scientific that in any other way you can hear that sound. Can't even get fired.
A, B, C, D, E- are called vocalizations, because the sound comes out of the throat while pronouncing them.
F, G, J, J, J- are called palatal, because when they are pronounced, the tongue looks like Lalu.
ट, ठ, ड, ढ, ण- are called Murdhanya, because their pronunciation is possible only when the tongue touches Murdha.
त, थ, द, ध, न- are dental, because when they are pronounced, the tongue touches the teeth.
प, फ, ब, भ, म, - are called lips, because they are pronounced only when the lips meet.
Phonology
All letters, conjunctions, volumes, etc. are the original ‘vowel’ of pronunciation Therefore, it was also studied and experienced in depth. It was concluded that there are three types of vowels.
Sublime
Low-pitched vowel
Vowel- Medium vowel
These were further subtly analyzed, which became the basis of musicology. In Sangeet Shastra, seven tones are considered which are known by the symbols of Sa Re Ga Ma Padni. These seven tones were originally divided into three tones.
Uchchairnishad, Gandharau nichai rishabhadhaivatau.
Sheshastu Swarita Jneya :, Shadja Madhyampanchma:
Namely, Nishad and Gandhara (nig) tones are sublime. Rishabh and Dhaivat (Ray, Dha) Anudatta. Shadja, Madhyam and Pancham (Sa, M, Pa) are vowels.
Different types of adjustments of these seven tones formed different ragas and the result of different sound waves generated in the singing of those ragas falls on all human, animal nature. It has also been very meticulously inspected here.
Specific utterances of specific mantras produce special types of vibrations in the atmosphere, which have a special effect. This is the basis of witchcraft. Its realization comes in the experience of listening to Vedic mantras or reciting mantras under the dome of the temple.
We have many mentions of singing and results of various ragas from ancient times. Morning, evening, joy, mourning, excitement, compassion are different ragas of different contexts. There are mentions of burning lamp by lamp and rain from Megh Malhar. There are some examples even today.
Some experience
(1) The famous musician Pt. Omkar Nath Thakur went to attend the All World Music Conference held in Florence (Italy) in 1933. Mussolini was the dictator there at the time. During the meeting with Mussolini in that stay, Pandit ji told about the importance of Indian ragas. "I have not been able to sleep for a few days," Mussolini said. If there is something special about your music, let us know. On this Pt. Omkar Nath Thakur took Tanpura and started singing the raga 'Puriya' (of gentle deity). Within a short time, Mussolini fell into a deep sleep. He later praised Indian music and praised the principal of the Royal Academy of Music for his music.
Ordered to record vowel and script.
2. Nowadays, with the influence of western life values, ethics and behavior, the attraction of western pop music is also increasing among the younger generation. Pop music dulls the inner personality and enhances low emotions, while Indian music is a means of developing balance and sublime emotions in life. The following experience can illustrate this.
Mr. performed an experiment at Sri Arvind Ashram in Pondicherry. The same type of seeds were sown at two places in a field and pop music was played in front of one of them and Indian music in front of the other. Over time the seedlings sprouted and the plant began to grow. But the surprise was that where pop music was played, the plant was unbalanced and its leaves were torn. Where Indian music was played, the plant was balanced and its leaves were full grown and developed. Seeing this, Mr. said, both the music has an effect on the inner personality of a human being in the same way as it appears on these plants.
(3) If we listen to music, then observe one thing closely, it can give a subtle knowledge of the nature and result of Western and Indian music. Whenever Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Pt. Jasraj or someone else sings and in that classical singing when the listeners become monotonous with him then their mind becomes absorbed in it, then they shake their heads in the feeling of joy received. On the other hand, when Western music is played, the ups and downs of Michael Jackson, Madonna's screaming voices start and then the feet of the listener start throbbing. So it comes to mind that Indian music develops the feelings above the navel of a human being and Western pop music enhances the feelings below the navel which shatters the inner personality of a human being.
When sound vibrations strike a bell, its sound can be heard for a long time. What is the process? Explaining this, Vatsyayan and Udyotkar say that in trauma, some sound atoms leave their place and a kind of vibration arises from the samskara which is called kampa santana-samskara and it moves forward with the help of air and in this form slower and slower. Is heard uninterruptedly. The cause of its origin is vibration.
Echo: Science monks in their discourse commentary Chapter 1 Sutra 7 say that what is echo? Its explanation states that as the picture appears in water or in a mirror, it is a reflection. In the same way a sound collides and is heard again, it is an echo. Just as the image of water or a mirror is not a real picture, so echo is not a real sound.
Morphology is not a common reflection sponsor
शब्दास्यापी प्रतिध्वनी रूप प्रतिबिम्ब दर्शनात्⁇॥
Science Monk, Discourse Commentary a. 1 Sutra-47
According to Vachaspati Mishra, ‘Shabdasya Asadharan Dharma:’ - The word has many extraordinary qualities. Gangesh Upadhyaya ji said in ‘Tatva Chintamani’ - ‘Vayorev mandatar tamadikramen mandadi shabdatpati.’ With the help of air, slow-intense words are produced.
Acharyas like Vachaspati, Gemini, Udayan etc. in their texts in great detail analyzed the origin of sound, vibration, echo, its intensity, slowness, their results etc. thousands of years ago, which is amazing even today.
