    Kashi has a specialty of its own. Music has been an important link in this specialty. In the expression of Tandava dance of Lord Shiva and the sound of the damru wearing it, the source of music and dance can be considered. Music space, time, emotion The different forms inherent in music are created from the higher state of the underlying waves within the individual and they are expressed in different forms. In Kashi, there was an exchange of traditions from the very beginning, as a result of which religious satsang, bhajan-kirtan and many different types of programs were organized, in which the musicians got an opportunity to refine their art. Along with this, the life and folk tradition, folk life (religious, cultural, social) of the common people of Kashi and surrounding areas have been rich. Due to which it seems that it must have definitely helped in giving creative form to the musicians in music science. Big musicians served music in Kashi, got the music recognized in the country and abroad Introduction of the musicians who reached the peak of music -

    Raja Balwant Singh of Kashi patronized musicians like Chatur Bihari Mishra, Jagraj Das Shukla, Kalawant Khan from 1739 to 1770. These musicians gave a new dimension to music with their art.

    Pandit Shivdas - Both Pandit Shivdas and Prayag ji were well-versed in music. Both the brothers had received the patronage of singing in the court of Maharaja Ishwari Narayan Singh.

    Pandit Mithai Lal Mishra – Mithai Lal Mishra was the son of Pandit Prayag. He made an invaluable contribution in carrying forward his father's legacy i.e. music. His singing and playing the veena were very famous. Once the famous Ali Khan and Fatte Ali Khan of Punjab came to Kashi and they were so impressed by listening to the song of Mithai Lal Mishra that they immediately embraced him.

    Pandit Jagdeep Mishra – Jagdeep Mishra, who was called the Thumri Emperor of Kashi, had a lot of fame in the field of music. Pandit Jagdeep Mishra was the guru of Ustad Existential. He gave a new dimension to Thumri.

    Bade Ramdas - Bade Ramdas (1877-1960) received his early education in music from his father Shiv Nandan Mishra. Later his father-in-law Dhupadacharya became the chief disciple of Pandit Jaikaran Mishra. Bade Ramdas Bandishe was unmatched in making. He composed many bands under the name 'Mohan Pyare', 'Govind Swami'. Pandit Bade Ramdas was one of the leading musicians of India.

    Chhote Ramdas - Pandit Chhote Ramdas ji was the son of Kanhaiyalal. He learned music education Khyal Tappa from his maternal grandfather, Pandit Thakur Prasad Mishra. The younger Ramdas was a master in this art of music. He earned his name in Dhupada.

    Pandit Dargahi Mishra - Pandit Dargahi Mishra was such an artist in whom there was a co-ordination of genres like singing, tantravadan, tabla and dance.

    Pandit Mathura Ji Mishra – Pandit Mathura Ji Mishra was an artist of the highest order of Dhupada, Khyal, Tappa, Thumri.
