Kishori Ravindra Amonkar (10 April 1932 – 3 April 2017) was a leading Indian classical vocalist, belonging to the Jaipur gharana, or a community of musicians sharing a distinctive musical style.

She was a performer of the classical genre khyal and the light classical genres thumri and bhajan. Amonkar trained under her mother, classical singer Mogubai Kurdikar also from the Jaipur gharana, but she experimented with a variety of vocal styles in her career.

Zohrabai Ambalewali (1918– 21 February 1990) was an Indian classical singer and playback singer in Hindi cinema in the 1930s and 1940s.She was considered as the most popular and greatest singer of 1940s and 1950s

Akhtari Bai Faizabadi (7 October 1914 – 30 October 1974), also known as Begum Akhtar, was an Indian singer and actress. Dubbed "Mallika-e-Ghazal" (Queen of Ghazals), she is regarded as one of the greatest singers of ghazal, dadra, and thumri genres of Hindustani classical music.

Begum Akhtar received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for vocal music in 1972, was awarded Padma Shri, and later a Padma Bhushan Award posthumously by the government of India.

Rajeshwar Acharya is a Hindustani classical vocalist from Varanasi, India. In 2019, he was conferred the Padma Shri honour by the President of India for his contribution to the field of arts

Acharya was born in Varanasi, India. He studied music from Banaras Hindu University and practiced music under Pandit Balwantrai Bhatt. He belongs to the Gwalior gharana of music. He has been associated with the arts and music department of the Banaras Hindu University and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University. He retired in 2003

Dr. Shobha Abhyankar (1946–2014) was an Indian musicologist and teacher of the Mewati Gharana. She is known for having taught many Hindustani Classical vocalists, like her son, Sanjeev Abhyankar

Dr. Abhyankar was born in 1946 in Pune, India. She married Vijay Abhyankar with whom she had two sons.

Pt. Shounak Abhisheki is an Indian vocalist, composer of classical, semi-classical, and devotional music.

Shounak Abhisheki, the son and disciple of Maestro Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki,  is a vocalist who combines Agra and Jaipur styles of Hindustani Classical Music. Abhisheki trained under Smt. Kamaltai Tambe of the Jaipur Gharana.

Career
Shounak has performed special programs such as Swarabhishek, Tulsi Ke Ram & Kabir and Abhang, based on his father's compositions.

Popularly known as ‘Masterjee’, he was hailed as the ‘Father of Indian Classical Music’ in Jammu and Kashmir. A legendary name in the musical history of the state, he has been the Guru and Ustad of thousands of students and Hindustani classical music grew with him in the State.

Sitar, Santoor and Classical vocal were his forte. He was the most loved and respected musician of the State. He leaves behind several important professionals, music performers and teachers who were his students including more than 35000 students.

Ustad Chhote Rahimat Khan (born 4 July 1959), is a Hindustani classical sitar player of the Bande Ali Khan (beenkar) Gharana, taught by his father, Abdul Karim Khan, and grandfather, Ratna Rahimat Khan, as well as his older brothers.

Pandit Prabhakar Karekar is a Hindustani classical vocalist, a disciple of Legendary Vocalists Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki and Pandit C. R. Vyas, born in Goa, India. He was awarded Tansen Samman in 2014 and Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in the year 2016.

The legendary vocalist and guru, Pandit Nivruttibua Sarnaik (4 July 1912 - 16 February 1994) was born in a small village of Kolhapur, Maharashtra. His father, Shri Tukarambua Sarnaik, was a well-known singer of bhajans of his time. When Nivrutiibua was five, his uncle, Shankarrao Sarnaik(father of the beloved Marathi actor Arun Sarnaik) took him under his wings and brought him to the Shivraj Natak Mandali, a drama company, which had been founded by the famous composer and harmonium wizard, Pt. Govindrao Tembe, and some others.
