Asgari Bai
Asgari Bai (January–August 1918 – 9 August 2006) was an Indian Dhrupad singer. She was a recipient of Padma Shri,Tansen Samman, Academy Samman and Shikhar Samman.
Asgari Bai was born in Bijawar, Chhatarpur. She had come with her mother Nazeera Begum to Tikamgarh. She died on 9 August 2006.
Ashgari Bai (1998), an Indian documentary film directed by Priti Chandriani and Brahmanand S. Singh explores her life as an exponent of Dhrupad.

Arkut Kannabhiran
A. Kanan / Arkut Kannabhiran (18 June 1920 – 12 September 2004, more popularly known as A. Kanan, was an Indian vocalist in the Hindustani classical tradition and one of the legendary vocalist from Kirana Gharana. He is known for the khayal form of singing to which he lent his individuality.
Early life
Arkut Kannabhiran was born in Madras (present-day Chennai), in 1920. As he grew up he was interested in cricket as well as singing.

Kishori Amonkar
Kishori Ravindra Amonkar (10 April 1932 – 3 April 2017) was a leading Indian classical vocalist, belonging to the Jaipur gharana, or a community of musicians sharing a distinctive musical style.
She was a performer of the classical genre khyal and the light classical genres thumri and bhajan. Amonkar trained under her mother, classical singer Mogubai Kurdikar also from the Jaipur gharana, but she experimented with a variety of vocal styles in her career.

Begum Akhtar
Akhtari Bai Faizabadi (7 October 1914 – 30 October 1974), also known as Begum Akhtar, was an Indian singer and actress. Dubbed "Mallika-e-Ghazal" (Queen of Ghazals), she is regarded as one of the greatest singers of ghazal, dadra, and thumri genres of Hindustani classical music.
Begum Akhtar received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for vocal music in 1972, was awarded Padma Shri, and later a Padma Bhushan Award posthumously by the government of India.
