राग अभोगी कान्हड़ा दक्षिण भारतीय पद्धति का राग है। इसमें कान्हड़ा का अंग है, इसलिये गन्धार को अन्दोलित करते हुए ग१ म रे सा ऐसे वक्र रूप मे लिया जाता है। कुछ संगीतकार इस राग को कान्हड़ा अंग के बिना गाते हैं और उसे सिर्फ अभोगी बोलते हैं जिसमें ग म रे सा की जगह म ग रे सा लिया जाता है।

इस राग की प्रकृति गंभीर है। इसका विस्तार तीनों सप्तकों में किया जा सकता है। यह स्वर संगतियाँ राग अभोगी कान्हड़ा का रूप दर्शाती हैं -

Raag Bhoopal Todi is symbolic of spiritual purity and hence employed for devotional compositions.

Employing Raag Todi like combinations with the Raag Bhoopali type rendering will permit proper Raag menifestation. This Raag can be sung in all the three octaves. The following combinations are illustrative

Dr. Suhasini Koratkar (30 November 1944 - 7 November 2017) was the senior most exponent and the Torch Bearer of the rare style of the Bhendi-Bazar Gharana of Hindustani Classical Music. She was a disciple of Pandit Tryambakrao Janorikar, the leading exponent of the Bhendi-Bazar Gharana. She was reputed artiste of Thumri-Dadra, representing the special style of the veteran Thumri Artiste Vidushi Naina Devi.

She passed away on 7 November 2017 in Pune due to the prolonged illness.

Vidushi Neela Bhagwat is an exponent of Hiṅdustani Classical vocalist of the Gwalior Gharana and an educator. She underwent training in vocal music under Pt. Shartchandra Arolkar and Pt. Jal Balaporia of Gwalior. She has also studied dance under Lachchu Maharaj. She has given vocal recitals throughout India since 1979 and toured numerous countries like Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Fiji, USA, etc.
