Baiju Bawra

Baiju Bawra (Lit. "Baiju the Insane", born as Baijnath Mishra) was a dhrupad musician from medieval India. Nearly all the information on Baiju Bawra comes from legends, and lacks historical authenticity. According to the most popular legends, he lived in the Mughal period during the 15th and 16th centuries. He was one of the court musicians of Man Singh Tomar of Gwalher (now Gwalior).

Prasun Banerjee (singer)

Pandit Prasun Banerjee (Bengali: প্রসুন ব্যানার্জী) (c. 15 August 1926 – 22 March 1997) was a Hindustani classical vocalist from the Patiala Gharana.

He left college at age twenty and undertook music training, first from Jamini Ganguly and later from Jnan Prakash Ghosh. He was an A grade artist at All India Radio. In 1957 he married Meera Chatterjee and later both of them became disciples of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan. He taught classical music at the Calcutta School of Music and received the ITC award (1994) and the Bhuwalka award (1995).

Gopeshwar Banerjee

Gopeshwar Banerjee or Gopeshwar Bandopadhyay (1880–1963) was an Indian classical singer and musicologist, belonging to Bishnupur gharana of Hindustani music, which originated in Bishnupur in West Bengal. He was known for his khyal and dhrupad renditions, besides Rabindra Sangeet. He also sang thumri, and most notably the thumri, Kon Gali Gayo Shyam, in Raga Mishra Khamaj, which he popularised. As a musicologist, he published several books of rare compositions with musical notations, including dhrupad and Rabindra Sangeet.

Singh Bandhu

Singh Bandhu is an Indian musical duo composed of brothers Tejpal Singh and Surinder Singh, exponents of Hindustani classical music and Sikh music (shabad kirtan).

In 2004, Tejpal Singh and Surinder Singh were given a joint Sangeet Natak Akademi Award from India's National Academy of Music, Dance & Drama  Also in the same year, Surinder Singh was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India
