'Dadra' is a form of Indian Semi-Classical Vocal form part of the Purab Ang Gayaki. Themed around moods of love from a woman to her beloved, it belongs to the Thumri family of vocal forms.

Yeh Main Jaanu is a beautiful Dadra in Mishra Kirwani composed by Ustaad Ghulam Abbas Khan. Kirwani is one of my favorite Raagas and this composition is equally one of my favorite ones. This Dadra brings alive the expression of love and pining of Meera...I love the composition and do hope that you will too... Here is a Dadra geet in Raga Kirwani, 'Yeh Main Jaanu' sung by Trina. Kirwani is a meloncholic, heart-rending and sentimental Raga appropriate for the verses of the song. It is a harmonic minor raga with moods of love, devotion and sadness.
