Hindustani Classical Vocalist, teacher, composer and scholar, Pt. Krishna Gundopant Ginde famously known as Pt. K. G. Ginde was born on December 26, 1925, in Bailhongal, near Belgaum, Karnataka. He showed interest in music from an early age and devoted his entire life to its pursuit. He became a shishya of Pt. S N Ratanjankar at the age of 11 and moved to Lucknow to become a member of Ratanjankar`s household. S. N. Ratanjankar was then the Principal of Marris College of Music, founded by Bhatkhande.

अबुल हसन अमीर ख़ुसरु चौदहवीं सदी के आसपास दिल्ली के पास रहने वाले एक प्रमुख कवि (शायर), गायक और संगीतकार थे। खुसरो को हिन्दुस्तानी खड़ीबोली का पहला लोकप्रिय कवि माना जाता है।किसके द्वारा? वे अपनी पहेलियों और मुकरियों के लिए जाने जाते हैं। सबसे पहले उन्हीं ने अपनी भाषा को हिन्दवी का उल्लेख किया था। वे फारसी के कवि भी थे। उनको दिल्ली सल्तनत का आश्रय मिला हुआ था। उनके ग्रंथो की सूची लम्बी है। साथ ही इनका इतिहास स्रोत रूप में महत्त्व है।

आरंभिक जीवन :

        एल. सुब्रमण्यम एक प्रतिभाशाली भारतीय वायलिन वादक, संगीतकार और दक्षिण भारतीय एवं पश्चिमी शास्त्रीय संगीत का कर्नाटक संगीत के साथ कुशल संयोजक करनेवाले प्रतिभाशाली कलाकार हैं. इनके द्वारा संयोजित संगीत की धुनें अपने-आप में अनोखी हैं. ये महज एक वायलिन वादक ही नहीं हैं अपितु इन्हें संगीत के क्षेत्र में तकनीक और नये प्रयोगों के क्रांतिकारी परिवर्तनकर्ता के रूप में जाना जाता है.

டாக்டர். என்.ராஜம் (பிறப்பு: ஏப்ரல் 16, 1938) இந்துஸ்தானி கிளாசிக்கல் இசையை நிகழ்த்தும் இந்திய வயலின் கலைஞர். பனாரஸ் இந்து பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் இசை பேராசிரியராக இருந்த அவர், இறுதியில் துறைத் தலைவராகவும், பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் கலை கலை பீடத்தின் டீனாகவும் ஆனார்.
இந்தியாவின் இசை, நடனம் மற்றும் நாடகத்திற்கான தேசிய அகாடமி சங்க நாடக அகாடமி வழங்கிய நடிப்பு கலைகளில் மிக உயர்ந்த க honor ரவமான 2012 இசை நாடக் அகாடமி பெல்லோஷிப் அவருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது.

Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan is an Indian classical singer and teacher from the Kirana musical style. As the grandson of Abdul Karim Khan, a founder of the Kirana style, he is a descendant of the gharana's family lineage. He was educated by his father, sarangi player Shakoor Khan.

Mashkoor Ali Khan performs as an A-grade artist with All India Radio, and is on the faculty of the ITC Sangeet Research Academy, a prominent institution of Indian Classical Music, as their senior teacher of the Kirana style.

Moinuddin Khan is a veteran Indian classical instrumentalist and vocalist, who plays sarangi. Based in Jaipur, he belongs to the "Jaipur gharana" of Hindustani classical music. Renowned for dignified method of presenting ASTHAI-ALAAP-ANTRA in Vilambit and DRUT with LAYAKARI has an extreme control over TAN - GAMAKplaying.

Khan has performed his music for All India Radio, Jaipur, in solo programmes.

Ustad Nissar Hussain Khan (1909–93) was an Indian classical vocalist from the Rampur-Sahaswan gharana. He was a disciple and son of Fida Hussain Khan and after a long and illustrious career was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1971 He was the court musician of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III at Baroda and was featured extensively on All India Radio. He was a specialist in Tarana. His most famous disciples are Ghulam Mustafa Khan and Rashid Khan.

Ustad Rashid Khan (born 1 July 1968)[1] is an Indian classical musician in the Hindustani music tradition. He belongs to the Rampur-Sahaswan gharana, and is the great-grandson of gharana founder Inayat Hussain Khan. He is married to Soma Khan.

In a story told in several versions, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi once remarked that Rashid Khan was the "assurance for the future of Indian vocal music"He was awarded the Padma Shri, as well as the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2006.

Sumati Mutatkar (10 September 1916 – 28 February 2007) was an Indian classical music vocalist and musicologist from the Agra gharana of Hindustani classical music, and a Professor of Department of Music in University of Delhi.

She was awarded the highest award of the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India's National Academy for Music, Dance and Drama, for lifetime achievement, the 1979 Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship[2] and the Padma Shri in 1999, by Government of India.She was also awarded the Kalidas Samman by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in 2001-2002.

Pandit Ratnakar Pai (13 April 1928 – 9 August 2009) was a Hindustani classical music vocalist of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana.
