Kaushiki Chakraborty

Kaushiki Chakraborty (born 24 October 1980) is an Indian classical vocalist. She attended Sangeet Research Academy, and was one of the exponents of Patiala gharana. Her repertoire covers Khyals and semi-classical Thumris. She is the recipient 2005 BBC Radio 3 Awards for World Music in the Asia-Pacific category. She is the daughter of Hindustani classical vocalist, Ajoy Chakraborty and she has held performances with her husband, Parthasarathi Desikan.In 2020, she was awarded Nari Shakti Puraskar.

Ajoy Chakrabarty

Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty (born 25 December 1952) is an Indian Hindustani classical vocalist,[1] composer, lyricist and Gurudev. He is considered to be one of the proverbial figures of Indian classical music. He has also dominated for other major classical genres of India especially - Indore, Delhi, Jaipur, Gwalior, Agra, Kirana, Rampur and even Carnatic music in South India. He was given Padma Bhushan Award, the third highest civilian award in India in 2020.

Chaitra H. G.

Chaitra H. G. (born 18 June 1984) is an Indian playback singer who has sung for Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films.[1] She is the daughter of H. S. Gopinath, a tabla player and a renowned Hindustani classical vocalist. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore, alongside being skilled at gymnastics and fencing.

Mirashi Buwa

Yashwant Sadashiva Buwa, commonly referred as Mirashi Buwa (1883 – 5 January 1966), was an Indian classical singer in khyal-genre of Hindustani classical music. He was a noted disciple of Balakrishnabuwa Ichalkaranjikar (1849–1926) of Gwalior gharana, along with Vishnu Digambar Paluskar.[1][2] He was known for his fast taans. He was also an actor and had performed in many of the Sangeet Nataks, Marathi theatre musicals.

S. D. Burman

Sachin Dev Burman (1 October 1906 – 31 October 1975) was an Indian music director and singer. A member of the Tripura royal family, he started his career with Bengali films in 1937. He later began composing for Hindi movies and became one of the most successful and influential Bollywood film music composers. Burman composed the soundtracks for over 100 movies, including Bengali films and Hindi.[1] Apart from being a versatile composer, he also sang songs in the light semi-classical and folk style of Bengal. His son, R. D.
