Suprabhat "Meditation with Morning Ragas" - Sabir Khan is an Indian sarangi player and the son of legendary sarangi player and vocalist Padma Bhushan Ustad Sultan Khan. He belongs to the Sikar gharana (school) of music which has given several stalwarts to Indian classical music.

Inspired by his mother, he started his initial dhrupad training with Prof. Nimaichand Boral, who was a disciple of Ustad Nasir Moinuddin Dagar. From 1988, Nirmalya Dey learned in the true guru-shishya tradition based on the master-disciple relationship, spending extended time with the celebrated dhrupad master, Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar.

He received his initial training in music from his father Late Shri Jibon Chandra Mukherjee who was a great connoisseur of music. He received his later training from Late P. S. Mukherjee, one time music director of A.I.R. orchestra.

Uday Bhawalkar is among the foremost Dhrupad vocalists and has been a strong force in its growing recognition, popularity and resurgence, worldwide. Uday believes that when immersed in the note and raga, the self disappears and music takes on its own existence; the principle of ‘darshan’ in Indian philosophy.

Meditation with morning ragas....Lakshminarayana Subramaniam is an Indian violinist, composer and conductor, trained in the classical Carnatic music tradition and Western classical music, and renowned for his virtuoso playing techniques and compositions in orchestral fusion.

The Junior Dagar Brothers were Nasir Zahiruddin and Nasir Faiyazuddin, a pair of Indian singers of the classical Dhrupad genre.
