भजन
भारतीय संगीत के मुख्य रूप से तीन भेद किये जाते हैं। शास्त्रीय संगीत, सुगम संगीत और लोक संगीत। भजन सुगम संगीत की एक शैली है। इसका आधार शास्त्रीय संगीत या लोक संगीत हो सकता है। इसको मंच पर भी प्रस्तुत किया जा सकता है लेकिन मूल रूप से यह किसी देवी या देवता की प्रशंसा में गाया जाने वाला गीत है।जैसे भगवान जम्भेश्वर भगवान रामदेव जी व तेजा जी के लिए गाये जाते है राजस्थान में सामान्य रूप से उपासना की सभी भारतीय पद्धतियों में इसका प्रयोग किया जाता है। भजन मंदिरों में भी गाए जाते हैं। हिंदी भजन, जो आम तौर पर हिन्दू अपने सर्वशक्तिमान को याद करते हैं या गाते हैं| भजन मुख्य रूप से भगवान को याद करने के लिए एक तरह का माध्यम है जिसे हम भक्ति और आस्था भी कह सकते हैं।

He cut several 78 rpm discs, classical khayals and semi-classical bhajans and thumris, at around 1930 which became very famous.
